In this online Education evening, Andrew Redfern will explore practical, real-world applications of using artificial intelligence for family historians. From trasncription and document analysis to image enhancement, research planning, and writing, this session will demonstrate how AI can support, not replace, genealogical work.

This two-hour seminar will combine a lecture, live demonstrations, and workshop activities. Digital handouts will be provided and participants will have opportunities to experiment with different AI systems through guided exercises during the workshop and afterward. Suitable for curious beginners and more experienced researchers alike, this session aims to build confidence, critical thinking, and practical skills for working with AI tools.

This course will be held online via Zoom only with limited places to ensure our presenters can give their full attention to all attendees. Handouts will be provided digitally before the event. This session will be recorded for any participants that cannot attend live. The recording will be made available for 14 days only after the event, after which time it will be removed. All times refer to local Australian Central Daylight Time (ACDT).

If this event has sold out, please add yourself to the waiting list to be contacted if we run this course in the future.
